Cleveland XL Lite Launcher Driver

This is one sweet club. I was first drawn to its lightness since my swing speed has dipped with age and infirmity. What makes it lighter than most is that this model lacks the mechanism that changes the loft. For me, I’ve been using 10.5 and it stays that way. Even when I had the option, I never changed the damn thing anyway. But more than distance, I was particularly impressed with how accurate, and forgiving, this club is. Not to say, distance was a problem. It kept pace with my Ping G30 and I suspect it will match the best of the current breed of high priced drivers. And speaking of price, the Launcher is an absolute bargain.

I bought it via Amazon, where returns are a breeze, if necessary. But this baby will stay in the bag for, I suspect, a long, long time.

BTW, it looks great with a deep black finish on top. Very pleasing, at least to my eye.
