A healthy, happy, prosperous New Year, my faithful subscribers and others who have stumbled upon this humble but hopefully helpful site. I wish you all the best of golf experiences throughout 2017, full of the feels of direct and solid contact, leading to pars, birdies, good scores, and, maybe, a hole in one. Who knows? Golf is a game of surprises, a bit of magic, and a whole lot of concentration, mindfulness…and fun.
Be well. Should be an interesting year with Tiger back in the fray. More Mindful Golfer blog posts in the works and soon to be offered to you, my loyal readers.

- My New Years Day Tip for Longer Drives or shorter approach shots: If you’re over 60, move up to the Senior Tees (They are one tee position up from the Whites and are usually Orange or Yellow), which I also call the Winter Tees since I get just about no roll in the cold, rainy season. You may need to sell it to your foursome, but, on the other hand, it’s your choice. Everyone can and should choose their own tees.
