*** Speaking of Cam Smith, I am not impressed with his “no comments” and general indignation over reporters’ questions around his intention to jump ship to LIV Golf. The rumors are that he has already signed with the Saudi “sportswashing” tour, so rather than evade the questions it would be much better for “The Champion Golfer of the Year” to come clean, be honest, and spill the beans, whatever they may be.
I really wish he’d stay with the PGA, though, as I would love to watch this wonderful golfer progress and proceed with what could be a HOF career. Switching to LIV will be like watching Cam Smith’s career go swirling down the drain. And that makes me both sad and angry.

Congrats to Will Zalatoris on his first PGA win. This kid is quite a talent, with golf skills aplenty. He is certainly a star in the making.
